Hookshot Data

A new revenue line from data you already have.

Hookshot™ Data anonymizes the ticket histories and SOPs already sitting in your systems, augments them so AI models can generalize, and packages them as training environments those models learn from with reinforcement learning. Companies get paid upfront or through licensing fees.

How It Works

From records to training environments

We augment the data so models can generalize, then build the environments they learn in.

  1. Scope

A short technical assessment of your systems and what's worth licensing.

  2. Augment

We clean and structure the records so the patterns hold up beyond your company.

  3. Environments

We turn that data into training environments models learn from with reinforcement learning.

  4. Match & Pay

We set the terms and try to value the data as well as we can. Companies get paid upfront or through licensing fees.

Why Hookshot™ Data

Why companies license through Hookshot Data

Augmented so models can generalize

We don't license a dump of tickets. We structure and augment the data so the patterns are usable across AI models.

The deliverable is a training environment

A model learns inside it with reinforcement learning — try a path, get a reward, improve.

This isn't a new project for your team

We do the extraction, cleaning, anonymization, and packaging. Your part is a data-access grant.

Revenue from data you've already paid to produce

Paid upfront or through licensing fees. No new product to build, no new team to hire.

For PE / Operating Partners

One playbook. Every portfolio company.

Run the same data-licensing process across your portfolio with a single point of contact, instead of negotiating a one-off deal at every company.

Every company runs the same intake

Every portfolio company goes through the same scope, structure, and match process, coordinated through a single point of contact.

We size the whole portfolio first

We size the opportunity across your portfolio based on the systems each company runs and the data categories actually available.

Legal and IT still sign off at every company

A portfolio-wide process doesn't mean centralized control over any one company's data. Each portco can decline any category or class of data.

FAQ

Common Questions.

Hookshot™ Data takes operational data you already have, structures it so AI models can learn from it, and packages it as training environments. Licensing is a separate agreement from our automation products.

An environment is something a model can practice in. Once the data is anonymized and structured, a model can work through a real resolution path inside it, see whether the outcome held up, and adjust. A flat export gives it nothing to practice against.

No. PII and customer identifiers are stripped first. The licensed data is anonymized, and we do not review every record in full. You also choose which categories move forward.

You do. You keep ownership. The agreement is a license for a defined scope and duration, not a sale of the data.

Less than most internal projects. You grant data access; we handle extraction, cleaning, anonymization, and matching buyers. No engineering sprint and no dedicated headcount on your side.

Companies get paid upfront or through licensing fees. Price depends on volume, uniqueness, and how well the data is structured. Comparable deals run from the low six figures into the low seven figures. We set the terms and try to value the data as well as we can.

Yes. One contact runs the same process at each portfolio company, so you are not reinventing the deal at every portco. Each company still decides what it will share.

You can decline any category or class of data. That data does not move forward, and the rest of the deal can still proceed.

No. A broker resells information that is already circulating, usually to whoever pays for it. This is a license to one buyer you are told about in advance, for a defined scope and duration, on data you have already screened.

No. Most companies have not structured their data for this use case. Preparing and cleaning is part of what we do after you talk to us.
